Undoing Racism® Workshops
“Undoing Racism®”
We invite you to be part of our movement to advance institutional change for racial equity. Workshop participants will engage in a comprehensive exploration of how racism shapes American institutions, often without our conscious understanding that it is doing so. Applicants should be individuals in positions to take knowledge gained in the workshop back to their communities, colleagues, and institutions. The goal is to foster local work groups that will continue the conversation and work toward institutional change.
A Workshop by the People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond
A national multiracial network of antiracist organizers and educators dedicated to building a movement for justice by ending racism and other forms of institutional oppression. The People’s Institute Undoing Racism Workshop is an intensive 2 ½ day workshop designed to educate, challenge and empower people to “undo” the racist structures that hinder effective social change. Their analysis moves beyond a focus on the symptoms of racism to an understanding of what it is, where it comes from, how it functions, why it persists and how it can be undone.

Mission & Goals Specific to the Reparations Committee
- Support people of color-led organizations, especially the African American and Indigenous Reparations Leaders.
- Promote reparations efforts at all levels, when possible: individual, local, regional, state, national, world-wide.
- Collaborate with other organizations already doing the work, when possible.
- For those of European descent: support each other in our own individual self-defined reparations efforts. (Reparations efforts are not just monetary.)
