Undoing Racism Workshop - November 2018

WE CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT RACISM

UROC of Western MA is pleased to bring you

Undoing Racism/Community Organizing Workshop

A WORKSHOP BY THE PEOPLE’S INSTITUTE FOR SURVIVAL AND BEYOND

Participants will explore what racism is, where it comes from, how it functions, why it persists and how it can be undone. The workshop emphasizes learning from history, developing leadership, maintaining accountability to communities, creating networks, undoing internalized racial oppression and understanding the role of organizational gatekeeping as a mechanism for perpetuating racism.

WHAT IS THE PEOPLE’S INSTITUTE?
