Racial Equity Organizers Monthly Gatherings

The Racial Equity Monthly Meetings are designed to help individuals committed to Racial Justice and Equity collectively develop a deeper understanding of and address racism in their personal lives, organizations and community. The meetings also provide networking opportunities and support local organizing efforts.

We believe that in order to build an anti-racist community working toward RACIAL EQUITY, we must:

  • Come together in building an antiracist community using antiracist principles put forth by the Undoing Racism Training by The People's Institute for Survival & Beyond. (www.pisab.org
  • Develop a common understanding of local community problems

  • Understanding that individuals are at different stages of development in their anti-racism work

  • Collectively develop organizing goals and action plans based on the local community’s problems, needs & data driven outcomes.

BRIDGE in the farthest corner of Western Massachusetts would like our monthly Race Task Force Meetings and our Real Talk on Race to be connected to this group. Contact us 413-394-4029. here in the Berkshires.
We are funded by Haymarket Peoples Fund and our anti-racism work informed by them and Undoing Racism by the Peoples institute. We employ a systemic analysis regarding racism in our non-profit as well as the organizing principle for our Race Task Force.
Glad to connect with others doing similar work. ditto Glroia Francesca Mengual.

My co-worker at Everyday Democracy just sent me a link about your upcoming Latino Challenges workshop, which led me to your web site. I see it is new and still being built; I look forward to the information I will find her some day. It’s great to connect with others doing similar work nearby.
